Melbourne is Australia's hub for all things fashionable and flavoursome. The city offers superb dining, sport & art opportunities to experience. It is the perfect blend of rich cultural history and new age trends. The city remains vibrant even as the sun sets, coming to life with bustling laneways, stylish neighbourhoods and an advanced foodie scene to explore, getting a taste of what Melbourne is all about.

Despite having four distinct seasons, Melbourne's weather is known for its unpredictability. In December, the summer is generally warm, however, it isn't uncommon to experience all four seasons in a single day. Be sure to pack layers and carry an umbrella in your bag.

Top things to do in Melbourne

Wander through Melbourne's laneways in a wonderland of colourful street art, al fresco cafes and intimate wine bars.

Explore Melbourne's art and culture scene by journeying through iconic galleries, museums and streets lined with graffiti.

Melbourne's beaches are calm and sheltered, making them ideal for swimming, fishing or just lazing about in the sun.

Nicknamed the "coffee capital of the world", Melbourne has no shortage of excellent coffee shops. Thanks to an influx of Greek and Italian immigrants who introduced espresso to our city after WWII, we now have more coffee shops per person than any other city in the world.
