KEYNOTE SPEAKERS

The Conference Organising Committee are pleased to bring you an exceptional lineup of Keynote Speakers for the 2022 Conference.

Dan Haesler

Dan Haesler is a coach whose work focuses on creating happier, healthier and higher performance.  He works with leaders in order to help them, and the people they lead, to thrive, professionally and personally.

He is also the best-selling author of The Act of Leadership which has already topped the Australian Business Book Charts (probably because it’s about people not business).

He is also the host of one of Australia’s most popular management podcasts, Habits of Leadership.

Dan’s clients include elite athletes and Olympians, as well as corporate and educational leaders.

As a Director of Cut Through Coaching, he is also an international keynote speaker and regularly presents alongside industry leaders on topics of leadership, mindset, motivation and peak performance.

Before moving to Australia, Dan was also once identified, on national TV, as the UK’s worst housemate.

Dr Michael Nagel

Dr Michael Nagel is an Associate Professor at the University of the Sunshine Coast where he teaches and researches in the areas of child and adolescent development, behaviour and learning.  He is the author of twenty books on child development and learning used by teachers and parents in over forty countries and has delivered over 300 workshops and seminars for parents and teachers nationally and internationally.

Nominated as Australian Lecturer of the Year each year from 2010 to 2017, Dr Nagel has been an invited guest on ‘TV New Zealand Breakfast’, ‘Canada AM’, ‘Sunrise’, ‘A Current Affair’ and ‘The Project’.  Dr Nagel is also a member of the prestigious International Neuropsychological Society, and has been a feature writer for the ‘The First Five Years’ online parenting platform and for ‘Jigsaw’ and the ‘Child’ series of magazines which collectively offers parenting advice to more than one million parents.

Rachel Calendar

Rachel is a TEDx presenter, speaker, trainer, award winning artist and the author of the Outstanding Book of the Year Award 2015 IPPY New York, Super Power Baby Project. This exceptional book celebrates the lives and abilities of children with chromosomal or genetic conditions, and was inspired by Rachel's late daughter Evie, who was born with a very rare condition herself.

In the two and a half years of Evie's life, Rachel learnt a lot about the use of language in the health and education systems, and has spent the subsequent years continuing to explore the impact and implications of how it is used by health professionals and educators - To positive and negative effect.

Michelle Rushton

Michelle is co-founder and director of the learning and behaviour change consultancy People of Influence. With over 15 years of experience with tens of thousands of people, has designed and delivered award-winning behaviour change and leadership development programs for companies like Microsoft, Australia Post and American Express.

As a speaker, facilitator and consultant, Michelle marries her up-close observations of high performing leaders and teams with contemporary behavioural science research to make sustained high-performance practical and achievable for her clients. An educator by training, Michelle has co-designed all of our programs and has conducted industry benchmarking research on the habits of high performance.

Michelle is also a nationally-recognised and award-winning educational leader, holding both an Honours and Masters of Education from Sydney University. Outside of work, she is a wife, a mother, a runner (sometimes), a singer (sometimes) and Beyonce fan (always).

Dr Jeremy Weinstein

Dr. Jeremy Weinstein is a born and raised Melburnian, a city he is still proud to call home. Originally trained as a mechanical engineer, Jeremy’s career has seen him take on a wide range of different roles and challenges.

After a decade as a filmmaker, a career in which he won a number of high profile awards, Jeremy was eager to deeply explore his passion for media and communications and went on to complete his Ph.D. in this field.

With a wealth of experience across industry, coupled with the familiarity of teaching at university, Jeremy brings his depth of knowledge, ideas, and connections into the global NoTosh team and to our clients. Keen to find and solve problems, identify areas for growth and shift mindsets across both business and education, Jeremy joins the Australian-based NoTosh team with big goals.
