Ed Haber Award

Ed Haber award for the ASCP Conference paper which makes the best contribution to knowledge and advancement of pavement concrete technology

The ASCP Ed Haber Award has been established in the memory of Ed Haber and to acknowledge his immense contribution to knowledge and advancement of pavement concrete technology.

ASCP conference papers which relate to pavement concrete technology will be reviewed by the conference technical review committee which will make its recommendations to a panel selected by the ASCP National Executive.  The recommendations may be for one or more papers which meet the criteria for this award.  The panel will then judge the recommended paper or papers when presented at the conference and will make a final decision on the granting of the award.

 The award will be granted to the author or authors of the ASCP conference paper which the panel considers makes the best contribution to knowledge and advancement of pavement concrete technology.

The award will consist of an ASCP certificate and plaque for each author, and will be presented at the closing session of the ASCP conference.

The award will be granted for only one paper.  However, should there be no paper which the committee considers meets the criteria for the award, no award will be granted.

ASCP will not enter into any discussion regarding the judging or presenting of this award.
