Alix Pearce
Senior Manager, Climate Action & Resilience, Insurance Council of Australia
Alix currently leads climate change and resilience at the Insurance Council of Australia. Prior to this she was Campaigns Director for the Climate Council, leading the organisation's advocacy and government relations team to accelerate Australia's trajectory to net zero.
She has also served as the Director of Policy and Campaigns for the Consumer Action Law Centre, leading a team of policy professionals, campaigners and communicators in the wake of the Banking Royal Commission. She was Founder and Director of the Cities Power Partnership, the biggest climate and energy program for cities in the country.
She was awarded Campaigner of the year at the 2018 Third Sector awards and serves as a Board Director for Not-For-Profit Global Voices.
