Emily has over 20 years’ experience in environmental planning and sustainability assessment both in private consultancy and within local government (including a role as Environmental Planning Team Leader at Gold Coast City Council). Emily has international experience having worked in the UK for several years. This has included a number of projects involving significant green infrastructure including: golf courses, parkland regeneration, biodiversity and habitat creation, biodiversity mitigation and offset strategies, green roofs and sustainable drainage systems.

Emily has expertise in Sustainability Assessments for the Built Environment as well as Sustainable Urban Development and Master Planning. Emily is an experienced Green Star Accredited Professional (Communities) and ISCA Infrastructure Sustainability Accredited Professional (ISAP).  Emily has worked on several award winning sustainable building projects and is passionate about sustainable urban design and green infrastructure.  Emily is currently on the Green Building Council of Australia Nature & Biodiversity Expert Reference Panel.
