Cooks River Alliance is a partnership between councils in the Cooks River Catchment. The Alliance used the combined resources, experience, knowledge and skills and the community to address the complex environmental problems of the Cooks River.
Visit WebsiteGeorges Riverkeeper works with eight member councils to look after the Georges River, they assist in guiding the best practice management to protect natural resources and improve liveability along the Georges River. They are one of Australia's longest serving catchment management groups, having been operating since 1979.
Parramatta River Catchment Group is an alliance of local and state government agencies and community groups. Together we are working to create a healthy, liveable and sustainable river catchment for wildlife and the community to thrive.
The University of NSW, Water Research Centre is a specialist fundamental and applied research organisation, focusing on issues related to water. For over 60 years our team has tackled complex challenges in areas of coastal, environmental and eco engineering, hydrology, water resources, hydraulics and groundwater.
SIMS conducts multidisciplinary marine research on impacts of climate change and urbanisation, eco-engineering and habitat restoration, ocean resources and technologies, and outcomes of marine management approaches.
CSIRO has been improving the lives of people everywhere with their science. They've advanced Australia with a range of inventions and innovations that have had significant positive impact on the lives of people around the world, like fast WiFi, polymer banknotes, the CSIRO Total Wellbeing Diet and Aerogard.
