Online Registration for the 2024 CDAA national Conference is now open. Early Bird Registration Fees are available until Friday, 31 May 2024. All registration fees are inclusive of GST and are shown in Australian dollars.

Registration Types

Early Bird Registration

Early Bird registration closes on Friday, 31 May 2024 . You must register before this date to receive the discounted early bird registration fees. Registration is by credit card payment only unless special arrangements are made with the Conference Secretariat. Should an Early Bird invoice not be paid by the close of Early Bird registration, the registration fee will be amended to the Standard fee. 

Standard Registration

Standard registration will close on Friday, 11 October. Registration is by credit card payment only unless special arrangements are made with the Conference Secretariat. For registrations made within 21 days from the first day of the Conference (Monday, 21st October 2024), invoices must be settled by Friday, 11 October. Late registration fees apply after the Standard registration close date.

Day Delegate Registration

Day delegate registration covers attendance for a delegate attending the conference for one day only and does not include attendance at any social events. If you would like to attend for more than one day, a full conference registration must be purchased. Additional social event tickets can also be purchased by day delegates.


Social Event Tickets

Social event tickets are included in Early Bird and Standard Full Registration fees but are not included in Day Delegate fees. Additional tickets may be purchased for accompanying persons or day delegates through the online registration process.


Cancellation and Refund Policy

Registration is by credit card payment only unless special arrangements are made with the Conference Secretariat. For registrations made within 30 days from the first day of the Conference on Monday, 21st October 2024 invoices must be settled by Friday, 11 October. 

Early Bird registrations must be paid in full by no later than the close of Early Bird registration on Friday, 31 May 2024. All outstanding Early Bird registrations after this date will revert to the 'Standard' registration rate and a new invoice will be issued. 

Sponsorship Cancellations: Sponsorship cancellations received in writing by the Event Organisers, will only be accepted if the sponsoring company has not yet received coverage in any promotional emails or marketing documents. In this instance, all fees will be refunded less an AUD$550 administration fee. Sponsorship cancellations received after the sponsoring company has received the above mentioned acknowledgements, cannot be accepted and will not be refunded. Trade Cancellations: Trade Exhibition cancellations received in writing by the Conference Organisers by Monday, 1 July, will be accepted and all fees refunded less an AUD$550 administration fee. Trade Exhibition cancellations received after this date will not be eligible for a refund. 


Registration Cancellations

All cancellations must be advised to GEMS Event Management Australia in writing via email before the cancellation can be processed. Cancellations will not be deemed to be received until you have written confirmation from GEMS Event Management Australia. If you have not received acknowledgement within five (5) business days, please contact GEMS Event Management Australia on +61 2 9744 5252. If the cancellation is not received in writing, the registration fees will not be cancelled and full registration will still be payable. 

Registration Cancellations received in writing by the Conference Organisers by Friday, 16 August will be accepted and all fees refunded less an AUD$125 administration fee. Cancellations received after this date cannot be accepted and will not be refunded, however, transfer of your registration to another person is acceptable. The full name and address details of the new delegate must be advised in writing to the Conference Organisers at least 5 days prior to the Conference. 

Online registration received by GEMS Event Management Australia are considered to be confirmed by the delegate. No tentative bookings will be accepted. No refunds will be made for non-attendance at the Conference and any unpaid registration fees will still be payable. 

In the case of a medical emergency which has caused a registered delegate to not attend the Conference, the Conference Organiser must be provided with a medical certificate or appropriate documentation before any refund will be considered. Where the Conference Organisers are advised of the situation after the Conference, and a refund is deemed to be appropriate, the delegate must still pay the administration fee, along with any catering charges incurred for all catering events at which they were scheduled to attend. 


Accommodation Cancellations

Accommodation cancellations should be made directly with the hotel and are subject to the cancellation terms and conditions as advised on your booking.


Delivery Policy

Once your Conference registration has been completed, you will receive an email confirmation from EventsAIR confirming successful completion of your registration within a few minutes of registering.

Payment Options

A Tax Invoice will be automatically sent to you at the time of registration. All registrations are payable by credit card at the time of registration. If you wish to pay by purchase order, please contact the Accounts Team at GEMS Event Management Australia on 02 9744 5252.
