WORKING HOLIDAY: Studies have shown that taking a structured gap year invariably serves to develop the individual into a more focused student with a better sense of purpose and engagement in the world around them. 90% of students who took a gap year returned to university within a year and it had a significant positive impact on students’ academic performance in university, with the strongest impact for students with grades on the lower end of the distribution. 

International Experience Canada (IEC) is a Government of Canada program that allows youth, aged 18-35*, from IEC’s over 30 partner countries/territories to work and travel in Canada for up to two years*.
