Katie Rizvi

Katie Rizvi is the Founder and Executive Director of Youth Cancer Europe (YCE), an impact-driven patient advocacy network representing young people aged 18-39 from over 40 European countries, having become a significant force in shaping EU policies on cross-border healthcare, financial discrimination, fertility preservation, reproductive rights, mental health, health equity and AYA cancer care. The organization is renowned for its success in influencing legislative changes across diverse healthcare systems and championing the needs of marginalized and minority populations throughout the EU. Katie also set up The Little People Children’s Cancer Charity in Romania two decades ago, which continues to support over 1,000 paediatric oncology patients in clinical setting annually.
