Overview
As AI absorbs research, review and drafting, legal knowledge is no longer the differentiator it once was. What sets a lawyer apart is shifting toward judgment, commercial insight, client empathy and the ability to work fluently alongside these tools.
This panel asks what that means for the role itself. If the routine work is automated, how does practice change, which capabilities become essential, and what does digital fluency actually look like beyond prompting a chatbot? Bringing together voices from across the pipeline, the panel examines how technology is reshaping the skills and expectations placed on lawyers, and what firms, educators and individuals should be doing about it now.
